DJ Rive (Station Owner)

DJ Rive, age 21,  is one of the owners of this station. He began DJing on internet radio in 2005, and djed at small house parties in 2003. He became interested in DJing in 1999 after receiving an electronics kit and built an AM transmitter with it. The first song he played on air was Bon Jovi - Its My Life. the transmitter obviously didn't broadcast very far, but friends lived close enough to be able to hear it, so every once in a while he would play music on air, but quit in 2003. DJ Rive began listening to techno in trance in 2001, and wanted to make his own. In 2005, after getting his own computer, he began making Midi files, but wanted to upgrade to something better. He found out about the program FL Studio, and started using that in late 2005. He got a friend into making music too, and both of them worked together to figure out how to use FL Studio. In 2009, after their music improved they began sharing their work on the internet instead with just friends. Not having much time anymore, DJ Rive has slowed down at producing music, but plans to start again in 2010.
